I’m Kayla — Sydney Newborn + Family Photographer, mum of two boys who never stop moving, and the kind of person who somehow ends up holding your baby and becoming best friends with your kids ten minutes into the session. 

This all started after I walked away from running a CrossFit gym (covid made me do it) and found myself with a camera in one hand and a baby in the other. 

When my youngest baby got sick, everything changed. 

I didn’t just want photos. I needed them.

And not just any kind.. I needed the type of photos that remind you what truly matters in the seasons of your life that are forever slipping through your fingers. 

This isn’t just a job for me..

It’s my way of living my purpose –  to make sure families like yours don’t miss the stuff that’s hardest to see when you’re in the absolute thick of it.
